The island of Jeju Province in South Korea has turned into an important tourist destination during the current year 2018, due to a strange reason that may be listed because of it in the Guinness Book of Records.
The Korean government decided to establish an international center for obtaining driving licenses on this island, which succeeded in attracting tens of thousands of tourists, especially from China, for this purpose.
The number of tourists coming to visit the city since the beginning of this year has reached more than 300,000, according to BBC reports.
The strange thing is that the number of tourists is constantly increasing, as the procedures for obtaining the license need a few days, which makes the tourist apply to stay on the island for an average of at least four days.
According to the same report, the number of Chinese who have obtained licenses from it since the beginning of 2018 until now has reached 2,172, with an average of 62 of them per week.
